FIRST ON FOX – Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy hauled in $7.4 million during the third quarter of 2023, according to the Ramaswamy campaign. The funding includes an in-kind $1 million contribution the biotech multimillionaire made to his campaign in the third quarter. He also has $4.2 cash-on-hand.  Ramaswamy now has more than 130,000 unique donors, nearly doubling the 70,000 requirement for entry into the third debate.

Some moderate Republicans are in talks to come up with a bipartisan solution as the battle over who will be the next House speaker drags on. “There are informal conversations that have been underway. When we get back to Washington tomorrow, it’s important to begin to formalize those discussions,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said during an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is aiming to schedule a floor vote to determine his bid for speaker on Tuesday, a source familiar with the matter told Fox News Digital. The Judiciary Committee chairman, who on Friday secured the nomination for speakership after a vote from the Republican conference, is looking at Tuesday as the best day for a floor vote, the source said, noting that most members would be back at the Capitol and present for the voting.

National security adviser Jake Sullivan on Sunday warned that Hezbollah militants pose a “real risk of escalation” at Israel’s northern border.  Sullivan, making the rounds on several Sunday TV news shows, also noted Iran’s possible involvement, as the regime has long bolstered the Hezbollah terror group in Lebanon.  “We are concerned. We see a real risk of escalation on the northern border,” he told ABC’s “This Week.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Sunday the U.S. is “actively trying” to locate hostages taken in Gaza and “won’t rule anything in or out” regarding the American effort.  On “Fox News Sunday,” host Shannon Bream pressed Kirby on whether U.S. special operations forces would step in to physically assist in hostage retrieval.  “There’s no plans or intentions to put U.S.

Protesters were arrested outside Sen. Chuck Schumer’s, D-N.Y., New York City apartment on Friday night, Fox News Digital has confirmed.  The arrests took place during a pro-Palestinian protest outside the senator’s apartment. Schumer is expected to travel to Israel as part of a bipartisan CODEL trip this weekend. A police spokesman didn’t say how many people were arrested. The protest took place after a number of pro-Palestinian demonstrations across the city.

The first U.S. flight evacuating American citizens out of war-torn Israel landed in Greece on Friday, a State Department official confirmed. Matthew Miller, a State Department spokesperson, shared the news on X, saying that the first chartered flight landed in Athens. “While many U.S. citizens are departing Israel on commercial transportation, the State Department is chartering flights to provide additional options and capacity,” Miller wrote.
